Doctor Ergen Rangel Escamilla was born on the 23rd of March, 1985, in the city of Reynosa, Mexico, a small border town in the State of Tamaulipas, which neighbors the State of Texas, United States. His father is a retired Mechanical Engineer, and his mother is a retired Elementary School Teacher. He has two older sisters: Psychologist Ana Rangel and Line Producer Michel Rangel. His maternal grandfather, Doctor Felix G. Escamilla Losano, was one of the first Medical Doctors in the city of Reynosa and the first to introduce X-Rays in the small city back in the 1950s. He was the main inspiration for Doctor Ergen Rangel to become a Medical Doctor himself, following in the footsteps of his respected grandfather.
Being born so close to the United States, he learned to speak English fluently since his early childhood. He attended Medical School at the Universidad Mexico Americana del Norte and graduated in the year 2009. After that, he completed his Medical Internship at the Hospital Militar Regional in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, and his Social Service at the Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social in Reynosa, Tamaulipas.
Subsequently, he pursued Postgraduate degrees in both Aesthetic and Anti-aging Medical Specialization and Aesthetic Surgery Masters Degree at the Instituto de Estudios Superiores en Medicina. He holds three Medical Licenses (7767805, 12004269, 12170300) to practice Medicine, Aesthetic Medicine, and Aesthetic Surgery. Doctor Rangel is a family man, a husband, and a father dedicated to his family. He has been happily married since 2016 to his lovely wife Marlene, a professional violin player.
Doctor Rangel was trained at the Mexican Army's Regional Militar Hospital, where he provided medical care to Mexican soldiers fighting the war on drugs on the USA-Mexico border.
